Well hello, readers! Wow, it feels as if I have been hibernating for quite some time. So much going on here, I can barely keep my head on straight! But I won’t bore you with all the details of the insanity that is my life.
One of the exciting initiatives I’m working on now is an online book club of sorts, via The Central Ohio Network (CO Net).
In case you live under a rock and don’t pay attention to the goings-on of the national social media community, Jay Baer and Amber Naslund recently published their book, “The Now Revolution: 7 Shifts to Make Your Business Faster, Smarter and More Social.” Well, at the request of my dear friend and fellow Social Media Club leadership team member, Mike Bowers, I attended the Ohio Growth Summit recently, where Jay and Amber presented and gifted us all with a copy of the book.
For some reason, Rocky Van Brimmer, who runs CO Net, thought it a brilliant idea to have me facilitate a 7-week, blog-based book discussion of Jay and Amber’s work.
I kicked off the online book club today with Assignment #1 and an embarrassing confession. Next Tuesday, I’ll post my evaluation of Jay and Amber’s Shift 1 as well as some discussion questions. I’d love to have you all pop over there to share your thoughts!
